PostHeaderIcon how much the cost of hair transplant?

It depends on how much hair is transplanted. Fees also depend on the doctor and the area you live in.

I have a client with hair transplants. He first did it 2 years ago and he added more 3 months ago. He spent $5,000 the first time and $2,000 the second.

PostHeaderIcon Hair Transplant Singapore – Cost, Effects and Causes…?

Firstly… how much does hair transplant cost.
Secondly… are there any side effects undergoing the surgery of hair transplant
Third… i would like to know what is the cause of hair loss in the first place

More answers here >> http://www.hairtransplantsingapore.com

Here goes…

(1) It depends on what clinics you go to.

Some clinics charge $5 some $6 and some $7 per hair that they transplant. If you are in a late stage of hair loss then, you’ll probably have to transplant more hair. Sometimes up to 1,500 hairs.

(2) Occasionally, if the doctor is not that experienced you’ll have hairs that won’t "stay" in your head.
Hair usually does though. And after about 2 to 3 days you’ll feel better, no discomfort etc.

(3) Hair loss is caused mainly by this thing called 5-Alpha Reductase which strangles your hair at the root and kills it. Blocking it is one way to stop hair loss, you do this by using 5-AR blockers. Or, if too many of your hair has been killed off, then you’ll have to consider hair transplant.

PostHeaderIcon DOES BIRTH CONTROL PILLS HELP IN ANYWAY MY HAIR LOSS?

someone today told me taking birth control pills will help my hair from falling off so much..
can this be true in anyway???

Birth control has no effect on your hair. However, I have heard that garlic supplements help with excessive shedding/hair loss (that isn’t caused by an illness). Also, take a multivitamin because iron deficiency can cause hair loss as well.

PostHeaderIcon Why exactly does chemotherapy cause hair loss?

Not all chemotherapy causes hair loss . . only some types. Cancer is the result of our own DNA, our own cells mutating and losing the ability to stop growing. Normal cells are produced all the time and grow to the appropriate size and stop . . a malignant cell for mostly unknown reasons has lost that ability to stop and will grow and replicate indefinitely, unless treatment stops it.

Chemotherapy was designed to kill off any and all fast growing cells in the body . . since the majority of normal cells grow slowly and replace old cells continuously, the idea was that chemotherapy would target and kill fast growing cancer cells. Unfortunately the body has a few other fast growing cells . . hair cells grow fast and some cells in the intestinal track also grow fast . . the chemotherapy cannot tell the difference between these few ‘normal’ fast growing cells and cancer cells so it destroys all of them.

The reason for the hair loss is because the chemo will kill off cancer cells as well as hair cells. The good news is that the hair cells will grow back after the treatment is over . . so hair loss is temporary. The loss of hair temporarily is a small price to pay for your life.

PostHeaderIcon I have extreme hair loss. After 12 months a dr FINALLY took a thyroid test. very low. Any tips?

I take biotin, vit A, niacin, saw palmetto, iron, evening primrose, salmon oil, GNC hair skin and nails formula, use nioxin shampoo and scalp treatment, coconut and olive oil scalp massage and started horemone replacement 1 1/2 weeks ago. Leotyroxine. still tons of hair loss

Most primary care physicians should refer their patient to see a Thyroid Specialist. If you haven’t, I think you should see one and get a second opinion. It is best that you do a research and educate yourself on thyroid health first before accepting any conventional medicine. We all know that conventional medicine change the body’s chemistry.

If the medicine you are taking for your thyroid is making your hair worse. You should stop taking it and switch to alternative herbal medicine such as Kelp, a sea vegetable that has a rich source of iodine and vitamin K. It also promotes healthy thyroid function. It helps me and I am not taking any conventional medicine. Keep taking Biotin, it keeps your hair on your head. Also Vitamin B6 is thought to prevent hair from falling out and help create melanin in the hair. Eating right for your blood type and super food such as raw vegan will help bring your thyroid back to normal. I’ve done it and it works.

Talk to a Thyroid Specialist or see a Alternative Medicine Doctor. Go here to get more information about thyroid health.
