PostHeaderIcon Can too much Biotin cause dandruff or hair loss?

I’ve been taking Biotin, Women’s One A Day, Folic Acid, Super B Complex, and Fish Oil vitamins for about 2-3 months now and I have not seen any changes on my hair. Recently I started getting dandruff and now my hair is falling out even more. When I massage my scalp it just makes it even more itchier. What do I do?

Where can I buy natural vitamins?

biotin can’t cause hair loss or dandruff. your problems may have another source. are you stressed? do you sleep enough, eat well?

PostHeaderIcon chemotherapy, hair and what to expect?

I have th eoption of having chemotherapy to help treat my disease, and r-chop chemo is what the doctor has suggested i have. With the hair loss do people normally shave off their own hair before it falls out? Do they do this before treatment or once the hair starts to fall out.
And also what is chemo like, is it really as bad as i imagine it to be? i realise everyones experience is different.

Any tips to help deal with it?

Everyone is different with chemo, I can only tell you what my sister is experiencing with chemo after breast cancer. Every 3 weeks she gets blood taken to check her blood levels and then they decide how much chemo she gets the following day, the day after chemo she gets an injection, i believe it is some type of steroid, she also takes anti sickness pills, the following day she can feel very tired, this happened every 3 weeks for 3 sessions, most of her hair has fallen out, she then started a different chemo which is also given every 3 weeks but with this one her hair does not fall out but on a few occasions she has ended up in hospital overnight due to terrible pain throughout her body, even her eyelashes were painful, she had her second cycle yesterday and is spending most of today in bed due to tiredness. when the chemo is finished she has 1 month to recover and then they start radiotherapy for several months.

PostHeaderIcon biotin tablets for hair loss?

Hi,I am 25years old,i am suffering from hair loss,Some people suggest me for Biotin Tablets,Let me know that,It will be help-full to stop my hair loss and grew-up again to hair or not.kIndly suggest me.

I cannot say for sure whether or not that would be a correct solution for you, as we don’t know what exactly is causing your hair loss. Genetics, thyroid problems, stress, etc. could all be causing it and it’d be better to isolate the cause before spending money on any solutions that may or may not address your specific cause. I’d personally suggest scheduling a free consultation with a Bosley physician at one of our many regional offices (all listed on our website).

Our people are hair loss experts who can diagnose the specific cause of your case & recommend appropriate treatment options. Best of all, the consults are conducted free of charge so at the very least you receive the information you need to move forward in addressing your problem without having to spend a dime for it. Best of luck to you in your situation and be sure to find out why you are losing hair first before spending hard-earned money to fix it.

Female hair transplant how much does it cost?

Instead of finding a solution, wouldn’t you want to find the ’cause’ first? Hair transplants, hair vitamins, hair growth pills are all ’solutions’.

Find the ’cause’ before you can find the solution, then eliminate them. Your hair will improve. Remember, whatever it was that caused them to fall out in the first place, it took years to get in your system, it will takes years to flush them down, so don’t expect miracles overnight.

So many reasons why you have hair loss:

Supplements, steroids, hereditary, hair dyes perming, straightening, diet, having babies (yes I read once it happened to her), stress, medications with testosterone, certain antidepressants, menopause, anti-acne, and too much of everything. Add to that the 7,000 + toxic found in your home, plus pollution found outdoors. Your hair is crying for help!
When your teeth falls or get cavities, do you blame the toothpaste?

When your hair is crying for help, that’s when it’s too late to do anything about it, and hair products can not reverse the problem.

They also say you normally lose 100-200 hair a day, but I don’t. I lose about 7-8 every time I brush it, so that’s about 100 per week, give or take.

The majority of hair problems here are from girls in their 30s, asking how to care for their damaged hair, what product to make their hair grow, why their hair falls out, and why their shampoo or conditioner don’t work. Women between 60-80 have that same problem, but it took them years to get there. And those same 30 & under girls are giving advice here? Now, I’m answering more problems re: hair fall or hair not growing from girls under 15. Go figure!

Even the cheapest shampoo can do magic for your hair, so it must be what you’re doing AFTER you wash it. Shampoos and vitamins might make your hair look and feel healthier, but they won’t put more hairs on your head.

According Dr. Melissa Piliang, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Americans spent an estimated $176 million on hair loss products last year, and chances are some of that money was not well spent. Don’t let charming salon owners, seductive ads or fancy gimmicks convince you otherwise.

I know hair. I am in my early 60’s, and I’ve been having menopause, and I am not experimenting hair loss, for those who said I don’t know what I’m talking about when it comes to hair. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy long hair. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing. What you see on my profile is what I have now. It’s as thick as when I’m in my teens.
Stress, seldom. I went through stress when both parents died, plus sister taking me to court & selling the house, on my own and still no hair loss here!

PostHeaderIcon Does anyone know of a hairloss treatment that actually works?

I’ve tried stuff like Rogaine but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know a product that doesnt cost a fortune and actually works? I would just be happy to find one that works.

I know, I know, you put a lot of value in your looks and hair is very important to you. However… (and you knew that was coming) be very careful. A friend of mine has to travel about 100 miles one way every month for treatments to keep his plants, or whatever, growing. And remember there are about 200,000 Marines with a thick full head of hair and they shave it.

PostHeaderIcon Is Rogaine illegal in china? Like if I bring rogaine to china and they find it will I be sent away to prison?

You know Rogaine the topical treatment for male hairloss.

Its a foam you apply to the scalp twice a day.

I am just making sure b/c last thing I want is to "disappear" for a few years in some horrible chinese prison doing hard labor.

Rogaine is just a brand of Minoxidil. And it is very legal in China. You can take reasonable amount for personal usage into China with no problem at all.

If you take the foam container, it may be a safety concern of the airline though. Check with your airline first. Probably you cannot take it with you carry-ons. This has nothing to do with China.

If you are not a Chinese citizen, you will not simply disappear, even if you do illegal things, like drug traffic. In that case, you may be executed after a trial, but people will know.
