have anyone taken biotin for hair loss?
I started taking 5000mcg a day , about 3 months ago.In the last 2 weeks I’ve noticed less hair in my brush, and less going down the drain when I wash it.My nails aren’t as brittle anymore either.I’m going trough menopause and it seems to be helping with the hair loss and broken nails.

i take biotin to make my hair grow more.
i have noticed that my nails are nicer and break less, my hair goes wayyyyy shinier and glossy when i wash it, and my fringe seems to have grown right into my eyes, so it must be working
its natural and healthy as well, so i would definitely recommend it. try something with folic acid and biotin in though, because folic acid is just as good for hair loss as biotin is.
hope this helps

Well I hate to rain on the parade, but my friend has been doing 5000 Biotin a day. She is having surgery tomorrow to have part of her stomach taken out (bleeding internal) that was contributed to by the high dose of Biotin. She was told she should have not taken over 1000 MG per day. It was helping, but the specialist say it was also destroying her stomach at such high dose. She found out, when she literally fell over two days ago.
