Is Rogaine illegal in china? Like if I bring rogaine to china and they find it will I be sent away to prison?
You know Rogaine the topical treatment for male hairloss.
Its a foam you apply to the scalp twice a day.
I am just making sure b/c last thing I want is to "disappear" for a few years in some horrible chinese prison doing hard labor.
Rogaine is just a brand of Minoxidil. And it is very legal in China. You can take reasonable amount for personal usage into China with no problem at all.
If you take the foam container, it may be a safety concern of the airline though. Check with your airline first. Probably you cannot take it with you carry-ons. This has nothing to do with China.
If you are not a Chinese citizen, you will not simply disappear, even if you do illegal things, like drug traffic. In that case, you may be executed after a trial, but people will know.
I am using propecia for hairloss: how long should i use it minimum to reach a stable level?
and do i have to continue the treatment for the rest of life? ( i mean after 1 year if i stop the medication the results will be reveresed and i will lose all the regrown hair if any?)
The best person to ask is your doctor who has seen the type and extent of your hair loss. Can’t use Propecia for the rest of your life. It is kind of toxic to the liver if used for life-long. Not everyone loses their regrown hair.
Try lasercomb and rogaine as well. Rogaine helps to maintain the new hairs and so does the laser comb.
Get your hormones and liver function tests checked by the doctor.

Tamiflu causes hairloss?
I started taking tamiflu four days ago and my hair is coming out like crazy. It started yesterday. Is this normal? It doesnt say anything about hairloss in the sideeffects paperwork. I saw one other post about this happening to someone else. Does it stop after the treatment?
Ok, I started taking it on Wed. 28th and I noticed massive hair loss as well. I found your question in my search. I am 37 and I am worried I have some other type of immune/ or endocrine condition.
Anybody know an easy knitting pattern for a jumper for my rabbit and guinea pig?
I run Rabbit Rescue, a animals welfare charity taking in rabbit and guinea pigs (and occasionally birds and rats). most of the animals come to us with hairloss, baldness, chest infections etc and allthough they get veterinary treatment immediatly i am looking for a pattern for jumpers to keep them warm this winter. Already have heating vents, blankets, extra bedding etc but would love to keep their chests and bal spots warm especially for thw senior animals.
Rather than a knitting pattern, I would suggest using T-shirt material which is easily washable and can be cut to shape for each animal. I cut up some cotton underwear to make a T-shirt for a little guinea pig who came to me with a severe problem with mites; this stopped him from hurting himself as he was scratching while he was having treatment. You can cut a couple of holes for the legs, then wrap round the body and secure at the back by tying strips together to hold it in place.
My wife is having sudden hair loss, can someone help?
Within 2 weeks, my 40-year old wife has loss more than 30% of her hair, showing the scalp skin clearly. She is understandably depressed, especially when doctors could not find anything wrong. She was not under any medications at the time which may be the cause of side effect. We have 6 month old girl which is breast feeding which some hinted could be a reason. The hairloss is still going, but it seemed to be lesser. What is the treatment to promote hair regrowth? Thank you for the reply….
Many women notice increased shedding from about 3 to 6 months after delivery, which is simply a sign of the body adjusting as hormone levels return to normal. It may take a couple of hair growth cycles (up to several years) before your texture completely returns to normal, especially if you wear your hair long. Many people claim that the onion’s high sulphur concentration is an effective treatment for scalp problems and can even stimulate hair growth
Thyroid disorders and hair loss. What is common and does anything help?
I was diagnosed with Graves disease early this year and underwent the radiation treatment for the disease. Now that they are adjusting my medicine I am finding that my hair is falling out a lot. They say that there are certain shampoos out there that help. Does anyone have any advice to prevent the hairloss?
i have that problem. i was tested for Lupas and Thyroid Disease. and i was fine. but then checked for low Iron and found out i have Anemia and that was the problem. i take Iron pills and a Multi-vitamin pill everyday.

Some cancer treatment can make your hair fall out: how do you deal with this?
Have you been treated differently because of how your hair has changed after cancer treatment? Perhaps you can offer advice to anyone looking for the perfect wig? You may not mind your bald head, but if you do want to cover up there are many types of wigs, hats, turbans or scarves that you can use. We have detailed information about hair loss on our website and have also just announced a training programme for some hair salons to offer specialist hair care advice to those affected by cancer. All my hair fell out when I had chemo for Ewing’s Sarcoma and there was nothing I could do about it (although for some people cold caps can be used to reduce hair loss)
I wore nothing at home, to be comfortable and either nothing or a headscarf in hospital. but i was a 16 year old girl with no hair and terribly ill so i worked very hard to look as normal as possible when i was feeling well enough to go out.
I origionally found a wig with a weaved parting. this was cheaper but looked terrible on at the top so i always had to wear a hat over it. after a long time suffering with horrible wigs i managed to find a lovely one with a fringe on it (so you could not tell it was a wig) and ended up buying 4 in my time of being hair-less. so i recommend if you find a wig you like, buy a few. the acrylic ones don’t last forever and it’s so hard finding suitable wigs.
once my treatment ended and my hair started to grow back wigs became too hot and itchy over my short hair, but i had no confidence to go out with my very thin, very short new hair. so i did a lot of research and ended up getting a hair solution from
http://www.hair-solved.com/
which i would recommend to anyone who will want a hair solution much more comfortable than a wig for 6 months or longer. it’s a bit like extensions but you don’t need any hair to use it. i can’t explain deeply so go on the website if you’re interested but i had it and although it’s a big thing, it’s great not having the problem of a wig falling off. i got to swim and everything in it!
but, 3 years after finishing treatment my hair is now a few inches past shoulder length and is still thickening up.
so if you’re currently losing your hair or have lost your hair due to chemotherapy – REMEMBER … its not permanent! concentrate on getting better and know your hair will come back eventually.
Women only: I am considering a lace front wig from a hairloss place?
I had a consultation for hair loss at the Hair Club for Men and Women. I have diffuse hairloss on the top of my head. The consultant told me that the best option for me would be a lace-front wig, which would cover the thinning area. The piece would cost around $2000 to $4000. I talked to my sister about it and she recommended that I go to some of the local hair salons, where they do these types of wigs for a lot cheaper.
I would like to know if anyone has had a lace front wig done by the HC for Men and Women. If so, were you happy with your results??
Also, how would a lace front wig/weave be just as good from a regular salon, if it is cheaper? My sister said that her friend has had several, and they use human hair and she believes the process would be the same as it would be at the hair loss treatment center.
One of my concerns is making sure that the hair is a very close match to my own. I have a multi-ethnic/racial background and my hair is very soft with waves and the hair strands are very fine. When I shampoo and brush it back into a ponytail to let it dry naturally, the top can be very straight. It can also go into very nice corkscrew curls or waves when I air dry it, but it is also very easy to straighten…Therefore, I would need a hair texture that is very versatile and bouncy.
Hiya,
I’m sorry about your hairloss, it’s really distressing.
Firstly I think the best way forward is for me to be honest with you.
Frontals shouldn’t cost more than $500 at the very most.
It will be hard to mimick the exact texture of your hair as your natural hair isn’t identical to the majority of hair donors so go for the closest match to yours, if you spend less for a quality wig then you’ll be able to experiment.
If the company your using can match the hair texture then by all means the price is worth it, but if it’s just a close match then you can get frontals for less money.
I hope that helps,
Chaz

try crushing some birth control pills into the shampoo that you use. It will make your hair thicker.
