I’m wondering if they really work or not and how much would someone with moderate hair loss cost?

Im on day 5 after mine… It cost me $2400 and included 1000 grafts using the strip harvest method.. Obviously since its only been 5 days, I cant say if it works or not but I havent heard alot of stories of the hair not coming in to any large degree. When I was doing my research one of the big considerations was the texture of the new hair. The texture of the hair on the sides and back of my head is somewhat coarser than what (remained) on the front and back.. Something else that concerned me was that the little grey hair that I have (Im 28) is mostly located in the donor area and if its grey when its moved from the sides of your head, it will be grey when it comes in on the transplanted site. Again this depends on you and can be fixed with hair color.. One other thing the clinic told me is that sometimes younger individuals (ie under 25) jump the gun a bit and go looking for a transplant before they really should… I personally would not reccommend them for very minor hair loss (try Minoxidil first… its far cheaper… $18 for a 3 month supply at wal mart)… Basically it just depends on your circumstances.
